I know you must work and make a living so you can support your children but have you taken the time to realize how it may be affecting them?

Many years ago, I had to make a decision that would ultimately change my life. My son was acting up in school and I saw if I didn’t make some type of intervention I could lose him forever.

Mind you this all started when he was eight years old and it escalated to the point where he had problems with women teachers but not with men teachers.

The decision was crucial because would I:

• Continue to work full time and neglect my son needs, or
• Do I quit and work part time so I can attend to his needs

I decided to quit and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. You see by putting him first, it caused me to get more creative in how I would make a living.

Sure, I got a part time job and I was teaching college in the evening but the bulk of my income was gone!

Ultimately, I decided to start consulting and began to offer my computer skills for a price. Now I use those computer skills to reach you using the Internet, to develop web sites, to sell products and services online and to help people to start and run an online business.

That one, tough decision opened up a new world for me. So, don’t worry too much about making the tough decisions when it comes to your children. Everything will work out…although it may not happen in the way you think it will or should.

The way I saw it over ten years ago, either I focus on him and get him straighten out or the penal system will do the job for me. It wasn’t easy but nothing in life worth having is easy!

One of the major things people worry about is money. Specifically, having enough of it to pay bills and to take care of their family.

Think about it…a lot of people go to work because they have to not because they want too!

I’ve had so many jobs in my lifetime it’s just ridiculous! However, I always knew I would do my own thing since I was nine years old.

So, how did I do it? How did I end up on the Internet and making money? It’s simple…I realized I had a ton of knowledge, insights and skills that I could share with others while making a few bucks.

Then it dawned on me that if I helped more people to achieve their goals the money would come! At first I was skeptical but in time I became a believer! Now that’s all I do is help people and trust me…the money is here and more is coming!

I highly recommend you read what I’m about to say very carefully as it just may hold one of the keys to your success in life.

At this very moment you have information in your head that people would be willing to pay for. If you fully understood how to package it you could easily sell it for a minimum of $20 and definitely more!

Now watch this process carefully as it’s really simple and you may think it can’t be done!

1. Find out what people want
2. Give them what they want
3. Make money
4. Smile
5. Do it again

Yes, that is a simplified version but true nonetheless. Now let’s say what people want is related to your area of expertise or you have the knowledge and information to help them.

You write down your tips (or record them using audio), create a web site and offer people the opportunity to buy and download it.

Here’s the big question, “What exactly is the product you will be selling?” It’s an intangible product!

You can’t touch the words but you can hear them. You can read the words (if it’s an ebook) but you can’t touch them.

In essence, you have created a product and money out of thin air. Still think it’s impossible?

Do you pay for Internet access and cable? What you are paying for is information. Specifically, the access to certain information. But you can’t touch it!

I often day dream as I take the train to work! So many thoughts and visions run through my mind.

Remember when you were a kid and you felt like you could conquer the world? Whatever happend to that person?

There are so many unhappy people walking the streets of New York City I often wonder, “What could be so bad that they would walk around looking like a zombie?”

Could it be they stopped dreaming? They stopped looking forward and got stuck looking at where they are and the situations they are in?

So many people talk the talk but don’t walk the walk! Are you a talker or a walker?

Someday soon you will look back on your life and be amazed at the amount of time you wasted on frivilous things.

My motto is really simple…I started from the bottom, living in the ghetto and there’s only one way to go but up!

I dream everyday but I also take action to achieve my dreams! You can complain and you can blame but until you take responsibility for your life you will continue to suffer.

Life is truly beautiful when you get out of the way! What are you waiting for?
